Hello.

Hi, welcome. I'm Brittni and I'm so happy you're here.
Art has been a constant in my life - it was just something we always did or had access to. My grandma was an extraordinarily talented painter, my dad has always enjoyed watercolor and had almost any art supply we could imagine ready for us (and if he didn't, he'd get it), and he always made sure we were creating or seeing art. My mom could draw, could craft anything, was on our town's art commission and had a gallery framing business. Between them, we saw a lot of western art, a lot of cows, a lot of delicate florals. Now as an adult, I am realizing that I still carry this with me.
I dabble in abstract art, I love the statement it can make - whether it's bold or subdued - and like to mix the pieces in with the others in my home. But I feel most at ease when I'm painting nature; and I am endlessly inspired by the west, whether it shows up overtly or not.
I was born, raised and currently still live in the Kansas City area (a Missouri native, I moved just across the state line to enemy territory about 14 years ago - Go Tigers!) with my husband, two kids and rescue dog, Buttercup. I paint in the evenings, after my full-time job and evenings spent with my family.
I hope that you find something you like, something you want to hang in your home, or something that just feels like your vibe. But if you don’t, that’s ok, too.
I’ll still be over here painting, sharing my work. Whether you stay for a look around or continue on, thank you for stopping by.
xx
